2010 Trotters Cup Draw – Wednesday Night 29th September 2010
This is the Draw Night to determine who will win the Naming Rights to the 2010 Kilmore Trotters Cup. Imaging having the 2010 Trotters Cup named after your business. The Trotters Cup is held on the same day as the SEW Eurodrive Kilmore Cup. You can expect crowds of 2,000 plus attending the event along with 1.5 million Sky Racing viewers.
You can take part in the 2010 Trotters Cup Draw by purchasing a Harness Race Name for only $165.00. You will automatically go into the draw for a chance to win the Naming Rights to the 2010 Kilmore Trotters Cup. There is 5 fabulous prizes to win and only 150 Race Names to purchase. Kilmore Hospital Dual Code and Kids Day Out – Sunday 16th January 2011
Have an action packed day at the races with a race approximately every 15 minutes apart. The races alternate between Turf and Harness and is a fabulous day to watch the horses.
Not sure what racing is all about, then this is the day to come. You will see heaps of racing and there is something happening all the time. Wander around the course to see all the horses parade in the mounting yard before each race, all the action in the betting ring, watch the excitement grow in the Grand Stand as the horses come up to the finishing post and all the entertainment for the kids.
This is our Kids Day where the kids rule. There will be heaps of rides and activities for the kids and best of all it is all free. That's right FREE. They can go on the rides as many times as they like you you don't have to pay a cent. It is a hassle free day for all.
Reg Withers Classic and Mallia Builders Vin Knight Memorial – Saturday Night 26th March 2010
Reg Withers was a committee member of the Kilmore Trotting Club and President Presedient from 1982 – 1984. Reg was also a Foundation member of Kilmore Trackside.
This event also honours the life and contributions of one of the all time greats of harness racing - Vin Knight. In the 80's, Vin Knight and Popular Alm took all before them, winning group race after group race all over the country, but Vin always called Kilmore Home.
